Numbers: 8

I wrote this character chiefly based on Terry Prachett's 'Dibbler' /Dibhala/ Dhblah, but then I decided to draw a more Malaysian spin on it. Here we have our local pirate-DVD seller.

I colored this on a different computer than the one that I usually use. It seems that all the pictures I ever drew before this, looks very, very yellow ... on this computer. But this one picture looks GREAT. Thing is, I don't know whether the majority of the people in this world use THIS kind of screen that makes things look yellow, or the other kind of screen that makes things look ... not yellow. But there's significantly less yellow in this picture, according to how I've colored it. But WHO KNOWS what it looks like on the other type of screen.

These things confuse me.

The whole write-up for this guy is also based on my limited knowledge of Chinese numerology where '8' is supposed to signify 'luck' or 'richess'.

All in all, a very good number.

(Edit: The Malaysian 'Dibbler' would probably be 'Diboleh'. (Can-do)).
