Fair Trade Coffee Animation

Edit1: A friend of mine has been having trouble viewing this animation. Please let me know if anyone else has had trouble viewing it,too.

I've been working on this for a while, with my friend Vince (who is one of my good friends irl ^_^. Unfortunately I can't seem to get him to come to Deviant Art ).

He created the characters and character pieces, and I drew the backgrounds, and he animated the window cleaner guy, and I animated the businessman guy. All I had to do was to move the little hand/body/head/feet pieces around like a cutout animation. It was a quick and fun way to animate ^_^

We made this animation for the Fair Trade Coffee week at Melbourne University. The premise is ... that the corporate guys at the top don't realize what they are doing to the coffee farmers at the bottom, buying coffee waay cheap than its supposed to be so that the farmers can't pay for their kids education or something, and the kids don't get to go to school, and have to work in the farms. Or something like that. I didn't write it. I just animated the script that my friends wrote. Was just happy enough to make an animation with Vince.

I am not a fair trade coffee person myself. I buy from Star Bucks! (But all the people who wrote this, are. They're the ones I listed down in the credits under 'written by')

Yuh damn preloader took me ages to write and was still buggy, but all I had to do was to whack on this Newgrounds preloader, and the whole thing worked! And it's even got a nifty 'Play' button. Thanks Natty!
